About

iEarth

Uncover a realm of opportunities.

Purpose

The main purpose of iEarth is to protect, restore, and enhance nature in all its glory, including all living and non-living life forms (i.e. climate, biodiversity, geology).

Eventually, the aim for humans is to co-evolve and live in harmony with nature by 2050 (as also stated by the United Nations Mission).

Mission

iEarthnl’s mission is to play a role in the societal tipping point (10- 25%) to transform societies and economies into co-evolving and living in harmony with nature by 2050.

Goals

Overall, we stimulate organizations, businesses and financial institutions to reduce their negative footprint, while increasing their positive handprint, by supporting the regenerative force of nature.

Meaning, by 2030, we inspire and nudge 90 companies, organisations, and institutions in taking bold actions for the benefit of nature (and people). Concretely, by 2030 we:

  • Give 30 insightful and inspiring trainings;
  • Consult 30 companies, organisations and institutions on biodiversity and ESG related regulation and finance.
  • Support 30 biodiversity projects with financial means and contacts.

Halt biodiversity loss, and restore what has been lost.

We can do this.

We can transform ourselves, if we all put our efforts in it.

Let’s move it!

Team

Founder & Consultant: MSc. Lavinia Warnars (Netherlands).

Presentation on Ecuadorian Yasuni-ITT Master Thesis and Campaign, Kamera Kultura, 2010

Lavinia is a purpose driven eco-entrepreneur and consultant in the field of sustainability, climate and biodiversity finance and projects.

Her personal and professional journeys have been broad, but the main underlining theme is the Ego to Eco transition humanity has to make in order to co-evolve and live in harmony with nature.

Therefore, Lavinia focuses on raising awareness amongst business and stakeholders regarding biodiversity as well as sustainability related issues.

Furthermore, she connects, motivates, and nudges companies and financial insitutions into decreasing nature – related risks, and increase more pro- nature related finance and activities. This, with a combination of soft and hard/digital skills.

Moreover, Lavinia excels in facilitating and leading groups to a higher performance. She can also translate technical aspects in an accessible manner to a wider audience. In fact, she is a gentle (Eco) communicator, but is crystal clear when necessary.

Personally, she loves learning, travelling, sports, and experiencing pristine nature, from the Amazone and Galapagos, to mountains and smaller nature parks.

A main focus of iEarthnl is Mountain biodiversity.
